A Mystery!

Homework this week is a MyMaths online task. I sent home new log-in and password details in book bags yesterday.

On another note...
Strange events have been taking place in school this week. After our beloved European project mascot went missing, sightings of a mysterious black and white dog have been seen around school. Could this be Roving Rex? Please visit his very own blog to keep updated: http://rovingrexunitedkingdom.blogspot.co.uk/

Next week, children will be investigating the sightings and creating news reports.

Thirsty Work!

Today, the Supersonic Sausage Dogs had their brass lesson. Mr Ingman is teaching them a range of songs to help them learn about pitch and rhythm. Maybe you could ask your child to teach you! Thank you to all parents for reminding their children to bring in their instruments and book bags.

Some children have been getting a little thirsty during the afternoon. If you could please make sure that they bring in a bottle of plain water it would be appreciated.

Many Thanks  Mrs S :)

Slippers

What a busy start to week 3! After continuing to write our information texts about Evacuation and practising our counting skills this morning, we then started our first design technology project: Make Do and Mend Slippers! The children looked closely at slippers and used topic words to describe them. We also used a target diagram to assess how good each pair was. I have asked them to be on the look out for an old fleecy sweatshirt that we can use to make our own slippers

Don't forget to bring your maths homework in tomorrow!!!

Something fun for you to share with your family!

Look closely at the dot in the middle of the circles. Move your head towards the dot and away again but don't stop looking at the dot! Can you see the picture move?

I hope everyone has started to practise the poem!

Welcome to our new class blog!

This is the first post from the Supersonic Sausage Dogs.  Mrs Stott and Mrs Marshall have been extremely impressed with all the new children joining the class. They can't believe just how lucky they are to have such a hard working and enthusiastic class of new recruits.  Please follow our blog and we will try to keep you updated on everything supersonic!
